Kate Middleton 's wedding dress is currently displayed at the Buckingham Palace Museum and people from all over the world have lined up at the palace doors to view a piece of history.
In six weeks, the wedding dress designed by Alexander McQueen and Sarah Burton has already been viewed by 350,000 visitors and counting. According to Buckingham Palace rep, the number is expected to rise past 500,000 in the weeks that come.
"We're thrilled that so many people have visited Buckingham Palace this summer in what looks to be a record year," a spokesman for the Royal Collection says. "The Royal Wedding attracted worldwide interest, so it's only natural that many people want to come to experience the State Rooms used for the reception and take a closer look at The Duchess of Cambridge's dress – which celebrates great British design."by FW Editor |
