Katherine Jackson Ponders on Filing Wrongful Death Suit

Tuesday, August 18 2009

Katherine Jackson is not yet settled. The mother of Michael Jackson is currently thinking about filing a wrongful death suit in regard to her son’s passing in June.

Her lawyer Burt Levitch stated, "The possibility of a wrongful death action has been floated. In that regard, no decision has been finalized… Dr. Murray's name has been floated (as a possible defendant in the potential lawsuit) because he is under investigation."

Dr. Murray is being named because he is suspected of providing a strong anesthetic to the pop legend before he died. Meanwhile, Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff approved a merchandising deal that will make more than $15 million for Michael's estate.
