Dr. Izzie Stephens will not be taken off the set of Grey's Anatomy. In fact, it is being said
that it might be Dr. George O'Malley, T.R. Knight's character, who will be bidding farewell to
the show. It is now confirmed that

Heigl, the person behind the character of Dr. Stephens, will be staying amid rumours
that she will be paying attention towards a movie career.
Along with her, Dr. Arizona Robbins, played by

Capshaw, will also return to Grey's Anatomy on a regular basis.
There was a cloud of doubt over the position of Dr. Izzie Stephens on the show when the
previous season ended. She had a brain surgery and things went downhill from there. She
was spotted in an elevator in somewhat illusive dress.
It was tough time for Knight to make the decision of leaving Anatomy. He was quoted
saying, "I am extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to play this character and will
miss my fellow cast and crew very much.”
