The music video of the fourth single of Katy Perry, Waking Up in Vegas, premiered and released on April 28, 2009 on the Australian, UK and U.S. iTunes store.
Describing her fashion statement on the video, she started, "Usually I'm trying to look like a party." She sought assistance from Phillipe and David Blond, the designer duo who also made her Grammy outfit made of sparkling faux fruit. "They're larger than life. I love that they have no limits!," she said.
She also shared how Bob Mackie helped her saying, "He picked out my clothes for 'Waking Up in Vegas'… I'm very happy about that! Bob Mackie designed some of Cher's most amazing costumes — I really want to see her show in Vegas now."
Conferred that she will be wearing various outfit on her tour, she added, "I don't ever want to wear just jeans and tee shirts. I like to have fun with fashion."
