Some people may hate her music but that doesn't change the facts: Katy Perry had a year to remember, and she has the #1 singles to prove it. And not just one single… but five, to be exact.
Unlike other celebrities like Pippa Middleton who made in top 10 Most Fascinating People of 2011 for almost no reason, Katy Perry reached rarefied music air in the past 12 months.
Perry's latest hit from her album Teenage Dream, "The One That Got Away," hits at #4 on the Billboard charts while all the record's previous five singles reached the #1 slot.
In fact, only Perry and Michael Jackson have achieved that many #1 singles from a single album and only Perry, George Michael and Janet Jackson have six top five hits from one record.by FW Editor |
