Neither "Duplicity" nor "I Love You, Man", but the weekend box office has been captured by the Nicolas Cage starring movie "Knowing".
The movie's main character is a physics professor, John Koestler, played by Nicolas Cage, who gets a page full of numbers which was left in a time capsule fifty years ago. After going through the number pattern in details, he finds out that they indicate big disasters of the last 50 years. One of them may wipe out life on earth.
Following the number patterns, he finds out that there were three major disasters yet to occur. So he meets the daughter of the person who had left the page in the time capsule. Together they fight against odds in an effort to save life on earth.
However, film critics were highly displeased with the movie and have given bad ratings to the movie, as well as to Cage.
