Lindsay Lohan and Las Vegas businesswoman Lorit Simon launched Sevin Nyne, a tan spray, in May. They even mentioned that it took three years for the product to be created.
However, a Florida chemist Jennifer Sunday sued Lohan, Simon and Simon's company for theft of trade secrets, breach of contract, intentional interference with contractual relations, civil conspiracy as well as deceptive and unfair trade practices.
Sunday claimed that the two women stole the formula of her spray that paved way for the creation of Sevin Nyne. Sunday's lawyer Marcia Cohen stated, "We are certainly looking for the profits that are being generated right now from that product. If Ms. Lohan and Ms. Simon and their companies and their shareholders are profiting from the theft of my client's formula and are profiting from that product, my client is entitled to those proceeds."
