After starring in the 2007 film I Know Who Killed Me, Lindsay Lohan hasn't been seen on the big screen anymore because her 2008 movie Labor Pains was only shown on cable.
Just recently, the actress got the role of "a grad student who must spend the summer working at a scientific institute on a remote island. She discovers an eccentric community of characters who are hiding a secret about a tragedy that took place many years before," Variety reported.
The Other Side, a fantasy comedy flick, will also star Giovanni Ribisi, Woody Harrelson, Dave Matthews, and Alanis Morissette.
Dina Lohan, Lindsay's mom and manager, said, "It's a wonderful cast and it's shooting on the East Coast, which we are excited about." The film is set to start filming in October.
