| Madonna Concert Set Collapses in France |

The European leg of Madonna's Sticky and Sweet tour was interrupted due to the accident at the Velodrome Stadium where at least one person was killed and several others were injured.
Through her spokesperson Liz Rosenberg, the pop diva said in a statement, "I am devastated to have just received this tragic news."
She added, "My prayers go out to those who were injured and their families along with my deepest sympathy to all those affected by this heartbreaking news."
At 5:15 p.m. in Marseilles, France, the roof suddenly fell during the construction of Madonna’s stage. The concert was later canceled.
