Back then, Mandy Moore was doubtful about settling down saying, "I didn't know if marriage was something that was super important to me."
However, on tying the knot with husband Ryan Adams, "I didn't take the decision lightly. I ventured into it realistically. But life takes you places you wouldn't have expected. I'm really content with what was in the cards for me."
The songstress, who has a new album Amanda Leigh, dished why their March wedding was just low-key. She said, "A big celebration was never my cup of tea. It was never important for a wedding to be about anything other than me and my partner."
Moore calls Adams "my best friend, someone I have so much respect for." Talking about their life as a couple, she noted, "We're (just) quiet people who live a normal, boring life."
