On May 19, 1962, Marilyn Monroe was invited at Madison Square Garden at the birthday party of the President John F. Kennedy. There she sang "Happy Birthday, Mr. President" and seems to be her last big appearance on the stage. The newspapers from that period rumored a lot about a relationship between Marilyn Monroe and Robert Kennedy or John Kennedy, or both but never wrote anything until the 1970s. Not only the media rumored about this possible relation, also the important people speak about that but no one proved something.
Looks like Marilyn was in love with the president but he was a married man and put away his relation with Marilyn and this thing made her to be more and more depressed and turned to the brother of the president, to Robert Kennedy who had something with her until she died.
That rumors was never confirmed by someone, always remained at the stage of rumors and after a few time Marilyn died all the newspapers wrote a lot about the posible relationship between Marilyn Monroe and the Kennedy brothers.by FW Editor |
