Martha Stewart Is Sorry For Jessica Simpson

Monday, September 28 2009

When Jessica Simpson lost her maltipoo Daisy after it was attacked by a coyote, Martha Stewart reacted about the incident saying it was "pretty sad" and that the singer-actress "should have been more careful."

During Us Weekly's 25 Most Stylish New Yorkers on September 15, Stewart also advised Simpson to "get another dog." However, on the Thursday episode of The Martha Stewart Show, the TV host made an apology to her recent dog remark.

"I said that she should have been watching her dog more closely, but I feel very, very sorry for anybody that loses a pet," she said. "Jessica, I hope you find your pet, but if you don't, I'm really sorry that you lost one."
