Its official: actress Maura Tierney, the one you know from Parenthood, is going to star in the ABC series that involves lawyers, The Whole Truth, instead of Joely Richardson. Tierney, who is recovering after having been cured of breast cancer, after following the treatment last year, will play Kathrn Peale, a delegate from Manhattan law office.
Richardson accepted the role and even shot some scenes before he retires to spend more time with his family. The actress who is 45 years old has already buried her aunt, Lynn Redgrave in May and her uncle Colin Redgrave in April. Last year her sister died in a skiing accident. She has a daughter whose aged is 18 years.
Tierney was replaced by Lauren Graham in Parenthood, after hearing that she has cancer. Negotiations for the new role were held up for weeks to get here. She will play with Rob Morrow, who plays fellow agent Jimmy Brogan.
The show could have premiered in the summer, which shows an event held in a courtroom, both in terms of defense and the prosecution perspective. Showing each part will keep the audience in chess until the last scene.by FW Editor |
