After The Bachelor's Jason Mesnick called off their engagement on television, Melissa Rycroft has the last laugh for being engaged to her 2-year on and off partner Dallas insurance agent Tye Strickland on June 26.
Strickland, who was a frequent spectator during Rycroft's stint on Dancing With the Stars recently, popped the big question at White's Chapel in Southlake, Texas. As of the moment, no wedding date has been set yet.
Rycroft's dancing partner on DWTS Tony Dovolani described Strickland, "He is a great home-town boy. He will love her endlessly."
And when the former Bachelor contestant was asked about the insurance agent in April, she exclaimed, "He's my best friend."
