Michael Caine doesn't want to retire from Hollywood

Tuesday, November 30 2010

The great actor, Michael Kane has no plans to retire from Hollywood in the near future.

The acting legend — who's currently promoting his new book The Elephant To Hollywood — says he'll gracefully quit showbiz when the work dries up.

"My view of movies is that they retire you, you don't retire them and I like the unknown," told Michael Caine to Britain's Sky News.

"I don't gamble with money, I gamble with my whole life."

Despite spending much of his career on America's West Coast, Michael said he feels most at home in England where he takes a key interest in British politics, most recently the Labour leader battle.

"I thought David Miliband would win it," said Sir Michael, who came out in support of the Conservatives at the last election. But now someone's thrown a spanner in the works and it's Ed and you don't know what you're going to get."
