On Friday, the Los Angeles County coroner announced that the death of Michael Jackson on June 25 was ruled a homicide. He passed away due to "acute propofol intoxication."
As seen in a search-warrant affidavit, the singer's personal physician Dr. Conrad Murray, who is the subject of the manslaughter investigation, had been giving 50 mg of Propofol with lidocaine to Jackson every night.
The family of the pop legend said in a statement, "The Jackson family again wishes to commend the actions of the Coroner, the LAPD and other law enforcement agencies, and looks forward to the day that justice can be served."
