Before the passing of the King of Pop on June 25, Michael Jackson was prepping for his 50-show concert series at the O2 Arena in London.
The 80-hour footage of Jackson's rehearsals is currently in the process to become a legendary movie featuring the last performances of the pop star. Variety reported that Sony Pictures is negotiating with AEG Entertainment to acquire the said footage.
If plans come out smoothly, the film will be helmed by High School Musical director Kenny Ortega. There were also talks that the video of Jackson's monster hit Thriller will be made into a new version, possibly in 3D.
