The famous Mindy McCready was hospitalized in Cape Coral for a possible drugs overdose.
Yesterday, at 10:45 PM her mother called 911 telling that her daughter took an overdose and she needs medical attention. Mindy was taken to Cape Coral hospital and today we have the first official statements.
In an exclusive interview, Mindy McCready said that her mom overreacted: "I just had a bad reaction to a painkiller and my mom overreacted."
Brent Young, Mindy's rep said that she broke a toe a few days ago and those painkillers were prescribed by a professional.
Also, according to him, Mindy's mom reaction is inappropriate. When ambulance was there, Mindy was perfectly coherent and out of any possible danger.
Mindy believes that behind that 911 call is something more. We know that Mindy and her mother are fighting for Mindy's son custody.
According to Brent, McCready's mom may have simply been trying to make her custody argument stronger by calling the paramedics.
