Although there are some things to put in order, it seems that Disney has finally found buyers for those at Miramax. According to Deadlinde Hollywood the future owners will be Ron Tutor, Colony Capital and James Robinson.
Tutor construction tycoon has offered several hundred million dollars, an equal amount was offered by Colony Capital, and Robinson, director of the production company Morgan Creek has added $ 50 million, in exchange for a place in Miramax.
Those $ 50 million might have made a big difference, especially because Disney asked for $ 700 million for the company.
At one point, after a few months, Weinstein brothers have offered an amount between $ 625 - 650 million.
Although these tycoons had invested fabulous amounts of money to acquire the company, they said that none of them will be named head of the company but will look for an experienced executive to lead the brand.by FW Editor |
