The mother of Oksana Grigorieva, the Russian singer who is currently dating Mel Gibson, speaks up about allegations that her daughter was the reason of Gibson's broken marriage.
"He split up with his wife three years ago, so to suggest that she has broken up their marriage is rubbish. He was no longer with his wife so he was bound to meet some woman at some point, it just happened to be Oksana," said Lyudmila Chernukha. She also added, "I talk to her all the time and she really misses Russia. It's her homeland."
Robyn, Gibson's wife for 28 years, filed a divorce on April 13 citing "irreconcilable differences." Though she did not say when exactly they broke off, Gibson, however, said in one of his interviews that they split in August 2006.
