Selena Gomez , 18, was hospitalized last week for exhaustion and high blood pressure. If you take a look at her schedule, it’s easy to understand why the exhaustion: Selena Gomez is currently promoting the film Monte Carlo and working on a new single. Both activities require multiple interviews and multiple performances all over the country. Also, she must deal with crazy Justin Bieber fans.
An insider told Pop Eater that Selena’s mother advised her daughter to slow things down a bit: "She is one of the hardest working people in show business, but now even Selena knows she needs to slow down. You have no idea how much work goes into promoting a record or a film. Selena's mom is amazing. She doesn't want to be in the spotlight herself like so many other celebrity parents.
