The renowned mother of 14 including her octuplets, Nadya Suleman has a new legal battle to work on. Attorney Gloria Allred filed a petition, on behalf of her client Paul Peterson who is a former child actor, asking the Orange County Superior Court to appoint a guardian who will protect the rights of the Octomom's octuplets.
The case was filed in connection with Suleman's plan to star in a reality program with her infants. Allred explained, "Rather than choosing to provide her children with a normal life, their mother has chosen to commercially exploit them and it appears she plans to continue commercial exploitation of them in the future. If she doesn't protect their rights, the courts will do it for her."
Peterson, on the hand, added, "I've been concerned about this since the get-go." They are trying to ensure that the earnings of the octuplets in their participation on a reality show will be kept and not be wasted by Suleman.
