New Michael Jackson Song Set For Release

Monday, September 28 2009

After Michael Jackson's passing in June, Sony Music, which will be releasing a two-disk album for the pop legend, will showcase the new single 'This Is It' with the backing vocals of the remaining Jackson brothers in the upcoming material.

The song is set for release on October 12 as reported by BBC News. Co-producer John McClain stated, "This song only defines, once again, what the world already knows that Michael is one of God's greatest gifts."

Prior to his death, Jackson worked with Will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas and Akon for a new music venture. Meanwhile, the song title was inspired by the supposed comeback concert series of the King of Pop in London.
