Britney Spears and Russell Brand are featured in the new promo of MTV's Video Music Awards which will air live on September 13 in New York City.
In a voiceover, Spears, who was standing beside a pool wearing a white bikini, said, "I wonder if he'll invite me. I mean, I can obviously get an invite, but it would be nice for Russell to invite me personally now that we're friends and all."
In his hotel room, Brand also thought of the songstress, "I hope I didn't balls it up with her last time… Some of those things I said could have been construed as offensive. I hope she don't think ill of me."
Later in the video, the English comedian called on Spears in a voiceover seducing her in a way saying, "Britney, this is the voice of your mind... go to Russell's hotel room and abandon yourself. Give yourself to him, Britney. Sleep with Russell!"
