Nick Cannon Angered by Eminem's New Track

Tuesday, May 12 2009

by Joe Halls

Eminem has been popular since then skewering celebrities in his music. In fact, the rapper's new album, Relapse, is guilty of that. The first single, We Made You, features damnation of today's celebrities such as Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, Amy Winehouse, etc.

In the track Bagpipes From Baghdad, Eminem tackled his supposed affair with Mariah Carey, saying "Mariah whatever happened to us. Why did we ever have to break-up?" He then referred to Nick Cannon, Carey's husband, and mentioned, "I'm not playing, I want her back, you punk." And worse, he continued, "I wish you luck with that ... wh---."

Cannon was pissed. He denounced the rapper's track in his personal blog and said that Eminem is "still obsessed with my wife, the same female that wouldn't let him get to second base from 8 years ago." He even challenged him. "Man to man, let's meet up and deal with this like adults," he writes. "This is my invitation to you, whenever and wherever you like sir. So when you come out of your introverted hiding place and ask your bodyguards if you can go out and play by yourself, I'm here Pimp!"
