Lots of cameras, teenage girls and other fans flocked the Capitol Hill on Wednesday because Nick Jonas testified at a hearing regarding government funding for diabetes research.
Jonas, who was diagnosed with diabetes when he was 13, convinced the committee to continue funding the diabetes research saying, ''My life depends on it. All our lives depend on it.'' The 16-year-old currently works with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
He added, ''With the help of Congress, I'll only have to wait a little bit longer for a cure.'' The young musician also conferred that it was his brothers who noticed the symptoms way back when he seemed always thirsty, dropped almost 15 lbs in two weeks time, and had a ''bad attitude, which is unlike me,'' he stressed.
