Nicollette Sheridan was slapped by the producer of the TV show "Desperate Housewives" - but only because he wanted to show her and the crew how to play a scene.
The actress filed a lawsuit against the show's producer, Marc Cherry.
Sheridan says that he slapped her and after that he fired her.
Actress statements are supported by the testimony of another member of the crew, whose name was not revealed, but said that the incident "does not require" legal action.
"Indeed Marc slapped Nicollette. I was there and I saw everything. But Nicollette had to slap someone in one scene and she didn't succeed as the director wanted. Marc told her and wanted to demonstrate how he wanted the scene to be, and slapped her, "said the source.
Recently, one of Sheridan shooting colleague, Eva Longoria Parker said she is "perplexed" by the legal action of Nicollette and the fact that she is asking for damages that worth 20 million dollars.
Sheridan's departure from the series was announced in February 2009 after her character was killed in a car accident.by FW Editor |
