No Doubt Begins Tour in Vegas

Monday, May 18 2009

by Joe Halls

No Doubt is back in the limelight since their hiatus in 2004. The group's performance was the highlight of the 12th annual Tiger Jam at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. It was a benefit concert for the Tiger Woods Foundation.

Gwen Stefani, the lead vocalist of the rock band, said, "You always remember your first show of any tour and so far, so, so, so good."

No Doubt performed a 90-minute presentation in front of 12,000 people. "The only reason we're doing the tour is to feel inspired," Stefani noted.

Dressed in white, the 39-year-old singer pleased the crowd when she sang, with her band’s accompaniment, their old hits especially "I'm Just A Girl".
