No Doubt feels relieved after pressure for album is off

Saturday, May 16 2009

by Kaustav Das Modak

No Doubt is

optimistic about their forthcoming tour of Southern California which spans across seven tour

dates. The tickets for the tour have sold out and the band is doing tedious rehearsals for the

East Coast shows in Atlantic City.

Band member
target="_blank">Gwen Stefani
said that they felt relieved after "the pressure to make a

new album was off" because now she can plan the show and learn the songs. "It was so much

more fun than banging my head against a wall in the studio", she said.

On the other hand, Kanal said that No Doubt is not a band from the 90's revival scene. "We

were always a band, even when we weren't playing together", he feels.
