Online Film Critics Society (OFCS), the largest and most respected organization of film critics whose work appears first on the Internet, formed a list of 100 best debut movies

The best debut film of all time was voted "Citizen Kane" in 1941, by Orson Welles, followed "Eraserhead" by David Lynch, "Night of the Living Dead by George by A. Romero," The Maltese Falcon " by John Huston, "Breathless" by Jean-Luc Godard, "Reservoir Dogs" by Quentin Tarantino, "The Night of the Hunter Charles Laughton," Blood Simple "by Joel and Ethan Coen," The 400 blows / Les Quatre Cents Coups "by Francois Truffaut and the one who completed the tenth," 12 Angry Men "by Sidney Lumet.

The top 100 best debut film follows, in order, "L'Atalante" by Jean Vigo, "Toy Story" by John Lasseter, "Badlands" by Terrence Malick, "Being John Malkovich" by Spike Jonze, "This Is Spinal Tap "by Marty DiBergi and co-director Rob Reiner," Gates of Heaven by Errol Morris, "Hiroshima mon amour" by Alain Resnais, "Airplane!" by Jerry Zucker, Jim Abrahams and David Zucker, "Duel" by Steven Spielberg and "The Iron Giant by Brad Bird.

The last ten places in the top 100 best debut films are occupied by "Drugstore Cowboy" directed by Gus Van Sant, "Nanook of the North" by Robert Flaherty, "Heathers" by Michael Lehmann. Guy Ritchie's debut with "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" was put online film critics on the 94th and the 95's "Strictly Ballroom" director Baz Luhrmann. Follow the "Dances with Wolves" with Kevin Costner, "The Falls" by Peter Greenaway, "Koyaanisqatsi" by Godfrey Reggio, "Get Carter" by Mike Hodges. In last place is "Ratcatcher" by Lynne Ramsay.
