Some recent reports are claiming that Orlando Bloom will earn $1 million for a short appearance in The Hobbit.
The Hobbit is based on a book by JRR Tolkien and will actually be a prequel to the author's The Lord of the Rings trilogy.
"Orlando Bloom will earn more than $1 million for a two-minute appearance in new movie The Hobbit," according to a source.
The actor who just became a father will star alongside Sir Ian McKellen and Andy Serkis in the upcoming film.
In The Hobbit we'll see Gandalf seeking out Bilbo Baggins — played by Martin Freeman — to go on an adventure to reclaim treasure.
