In her interview on KISS FM Phoenix's Johnjay and Rich Show, Paula Abdul said that American Idol "is just going to be a different show" with new judge Ellen DeGeneres.
Asked if she "broke down" leaving the singing competition, "I think that happened during the time I was making that difficult decision (to leave), where I was fighting with myself back and forth," she replied. "Am I willing to go against what my beliefs are and have the same outcome?"
As for her future projects, Abdul revealed, "I'm going to be producing my own shows, not just in America. I'm going to be creating a show in Vegas. Pretty soon I'll be announcing some very exciting stuff with a network and production company. So I'm actually getting to do all the things that represent who I am. People have no idea."
