Paula Abdul is slated to appear on the upcoming drama-comedy TV series Drop Dead Diva which will premiere on July 12.
Abdul said, "I am very excited to guest star on Drop Dead Diva. All of the people are extremely talented and it's a charming, wonderfully written new show."
The new show tackles the life of Broadway star Brooke Elliott who plays the role of a smart and plus-sized attorney Jane Bingham whose soul was that of a shallow model named Deb.
Other guest stars of the show include Rosie O'Donnell, Liza Minnelli, Nia Vardalos, Tim Gunn, among others.
