On her flight from Madrid to London, Penelope Cruz lost her checked baggage. But despite the unfortunate event, the actress still captivated the crowd when she arrived at the premiere of Broken Embraces in U.K.
Her director and mentor Pedro Almodovar joked, "I think someone took it. I think it was taken by someone with a fetish." It was actually the first time for Cruz to visit the Somerset House. She noted, "It is beautiful here. This is my first time here."
When asked how her relationship with Pedro Almodovar was, "I am working with one of my best friends but something changes when shooting starts and he becomes my director. I feel we are constantly moving," she said. "He is a genius."
