Pete Seeger, now 90 years old, performed at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival with his grandson, Tao Rodriguez-Seeger. The Jazz Fest turned 40 years old this year and Pete Seeger feels that it is a tremendous achievement for this festival.
His voice had changed considerably and didn't sound as it did previously, but the same strength has been retained in the voice after all these years.
Seeger also recorded three songs with the band at Preservation Hall and felt thrilled at the experience.
Rodriguez-Seeger says that performing with his grandfather keeps him on his toes.
