This year's Tony Awards bash was perhaps the biggest till date. But everything did not go as
good for Bret
Michaels, lead-singer of the band
target="_blank">Poison. He suffered an injury after ending his performance at the Tony
Awards on Sunday night.
Michaels and his band Poison opened the Tony Awards with the cast of "Rock of Ages" and they
performed the song "Nothin' But a Good Time". The performance was fine, but when Michaels
was coming off stage, a large piece of stage set piece hit on his head. He was slammed on the
ground and, though it was not evident in the beginning, Bret Michaels suffered a fractured nose
and needed three stitches on his lip.
Apart from this accident, this year's Tony Awards was a marvellous spectacle which was never
before presented in this grand manner.
