Prince William Conducts Irish Sea Rescue Mission

Wednesday, November 30 2011

Prince William is not only rich, intelligent, famous and married to a lovely young woman and the heir to the British throne; he's also a capable pilot in the UK’s armed forces. The latest evidence to support this statement: a rescue mission he took part in this morning.
According to several reports, Prince William helped save the lives of Russian seamen whose cargo vessel sank into the Irish Sea of the coast of North Wales early today.
William and his fellow military servicemen saved two men, airlifting them to safety. Unfortunately, one of the seamen was found dead and five other are still missing.
"We know at least some of [the missing] are wearing immersion suits and have strobe lighting with them," Jim Green, a coast guard spokesman, said Sunday. "However, sea conditions are challenging at best."
