Prince William and Harry Saving the Rainforest

Prince William and Harry Saving the Rainforest

Wednesday, May 6 2009

by Joe Halls

In a video that surfaced online regarding Prince Charles of Wales' fight to save the rainforests, his sons Prince William and Prince Harry appeared in cameo performances together with famous personalities such as Harrison Ford, Robin Williams, Daniel Craig, the Dalai Lama, Joss Stone, among others.

The advocacy is connected with Prince Charles' Rainforest Project. In the 90-second clip, Prince William and Harry were sitting beside each other talking about saving the environment. They are joined by a digitally-created frog.

On the project's website, Prince Charles relates, "Our aim, with your help, is to build an online community to call, from the bottom up, for urgent action to protect the rainforests, without which we will most certainly lose the battle against catastrophic climate change. One of the Internet's strengths is that it can enable diverse communities to come together to ensure that everybody's views and actions can really be made to count."
