Rafael Nadal stormed the court of the ATP finals yesterday. He hardly gave his opponent, Andy Murray, a moment's breath to crush him to a victory of 6-1, 6-2. Nadal had won the game within 80 minutes after it started.
The finals were held at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, Indian Wells, California, and the conditions were pretty windy, but Nadal said to the press that he had a "good strategy" and "played a really good match with those conditions". Nadal also feels that Andy Murray could not give his best performance because of the weather conditions. He thinks that the key to winning this match was his non-stop agility throughout the game.
Nadal had lost to Murray in the last two matches they played.
