American Idol champ Kelly Clarkson brought inspiration to country legend Reba McEntire. In fact, when the two worked last year for their tour, McEntire stated that she definitely learned many things from the 27-year-old singer.
"When she was doing songs like 'Miss Independent' and her other hits, it was like, Wow!" said McEntire. "I had more of an open mind when I listened to songs this time. I seemed to gravitate to sassy women's songs with an attitude."
Clarkson and McEntire also wrote songs together though the latter mentioned that none of them was included in her new album. "I'm gonna hold on to some of them and we're still working on some of them." However, the song, Keep On Loving You, from McEntire's new album was unintentionally inspired by the pop star.
