| Redmond O'Neal Has New Jail |

Redmond, the son of Farrah Fawcett and longtime companion Ryan O'Neal, was transferred to his new jail, a correctional facility located in Castaic, California, after being held at a jail in downtown Los Angeles.
The transfer was initiated so Redmond's drug treatment, which is slated to last for a year, will commence. Steve Whitmore, L.A. sheriff's spokesman, said, "Apparently a judge wouldn't let him enter private rehab. He'll be in this new jail location but will be in a program there designed for addicts to get off drugs."
In retrospect, it was on April 5, 2009 when the 24-year-old was arrested in bringing narcotics and a controlled substance to a jail facility. During that time, his mom, Farrah, was in the hospital struggling with her cancer.
