Reese Witherspoon Has First Signature Scent

Monday, June 15 2009

by Joe Halls

Like other Hollywood celebrities, Reese Witherspoon is set to launch her very first signature scent for Avon named In Bloom in November.

Basically, such fragrance combines the smell of gardenia, magnolia and jasmine. She related, "In developing In Bloom, I found myself drawn to the scents of my childhood in Tennessee. We had a great big magnolia tree in the back yard, and it's that beautiful white blossom that inspired the perfume."

It is not just all about her past, the scent also relates to her status quo. She explained, "In Bloom is indicative of where I am in my life today. I'm feeling very strong and independent, and so happy, so full of life. The fragrance truly captures that feeling—it's very sensual, very romantic and alluring."
