The famous singer Rihanna who is at the top of music charts along with Eminem, will start her actress career in the awaited science fiction movie directed by Peter Berg, Battleship.
At this point it's unknown what role she will play and which side she will take in the human-alien fight.
Regarding the subject of the film, it seems that an alien spaceship crashes to Earth and the aliens are trying to build a device to enable them to leave the planet.
When some fighting ships block their way, war is inevitable, and the story will be told from both points of view. Peter Berg wants to keep the idea of "testing" the game in attempt to destroy the enemy, the film was actually inspired by the popular game "Airplanes."
Taylor Kitsch, which you could see in the role of Gambit in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, will play the lead role - the ship.
