Robert Downey Jr. likes to stay at Guy Ritchie's country estate

Tuesday, December 14 2010

Robert Downey Jr. who played the role of famous detective Sherlock Holmes in Guy Ritchie's smash hit movie says the director's plush retreat is "the happiest place on earth".

"When me and my wife stay at Guy's country estate I don't see him much — I'm often pre-occupied with my missus. We always say his place is like Disneyland — the happiest place on earth." he said.

The actor, who is married with Susan Levin, said that his marriage takes a lot of work.

"Do we have to work at the relationship? More than I thought and usually more than I would care to. But ultimately, it's nice to have pure communication with, for me, a woman. Historically this is not something that, for me, was not really achievable." he said.
