The case of Roman Polanski (Academy Award in 2002 for The Pianist), seems to be nearing to an end.
According to Variety, Swiss officials are will make a final decision regarding the extradition of the filmmaker.
A representative from the Ministry of Justice has said to SonntagZeitung publication that there aren't many things to clarify in the situation of Roman Polanski, who is now under house arrest in Gstaad.
The director, who fled to France in 1978 as a result of charges regarding sex with a minor (13 years old), was arrested in Switzerland while preparing to attend the Zurich Film Festival, where he was supposed to receive an honorary award for his career.
