45-year-old, New Zealand-born actor

Crowe
is highly interested to act in the movie "The Next Three Days", a

remake of French movie "Pour Elle" being made by

.

Crowe is in the last stage of bagging the deal and if everything goes alright, he

will be seen in a prominent role on the remake of the French thriller of 2008.

The original French movie is about a couple who face extremely difficult

circumstances when the wife is jailed in charges of a murder she denies to have

committed. Her husband makes all the efforts he can to help her wife come out of

this situation.

The movie will begin shooting from September.

Meanwhile, Crowe is working on his upcoming movie, "Robin Hood", which will be

released in May, 2010.
