Ryan Gosling to Release an Album

Thursday, July 9 2009

After venturing as a deejay, Canadian actor Ryan Gosling is now on his way to release his own album with his pal Zach Shields.

The album, which is set for release on October 6, is entitled Dead Man's Bones as reported by the site Pitchfork Media. It will be under the independent label Anti Records.

In January, Gosling told Pitchfork that it took them two years to conceptualize the project. He conferred, "You know when you're a kid and you get crayons and papers and just draw whatever you want and it's just a bunch of messy lines, but to you it makes sense, and then they put it on the fridge. We wanted to get back to that place before we were trying to make the fridge. We wanted to work with people who hadn't been affected in that way yet."
