Ryan Reynolds 'left' the coffin only for lunch

Monday, December 20 2010

When he was on the set of Buried he was allowed out of his "coffin" only for lunch.

Ryan Reynolds who is 33 years old plays a man imprisoned in a coffin in Iraq with only a mobile phone and a lighter in the new movie.

"It takes 10, 15, 20 minutes to get in there, so I'm not allowed to get out because it would delay us too much. For the last five days of the shoot I was pretty much in the coffin, I didn't really get to leave much, maybe lunch that was about it." he said.

When the actor was asked if he had a fear of enclosed spaces, he said, "Not any more than the normal guy. I think everyone's a little claustrophobic in those circumstances, it's crazy.

I have this one fear of being unprepared for something. That's so stupid. It's like childhood c**p that catches up to you. So, for me, it's getting caught with my pants down, metaphorically!"
