"A celebrity is someone who works hard all his life to get famous, and then wear sunglasses to avoid being recognized.
" This is the definition given by Fred Allen (1894-1956) to the word "star", and I must say that is a perfect definition that characterizes today's stars.
There are various reasons why a celebrity wants to remain anonymous while in public.
One reason are the paparazzi, who are following you everywhere. However there are more serious cases, where most of the times, not even sunglasses can't save you. It's about obsessed fans.
With such a problem was facing Sandra Bullock. The actress, who recently divorced her husband because of infidelity, was chased by a psychopath named Thomas Weldon.
The man with serious mental disorders represents a threat to Sandra since 2003 when he was arrested and hospitalized in a specialized center for the same reason.
A few days ago, the actress's lawyer, Ed McPherson, filed a request for a restraining order against Weldon, so that his client should not feel threatened.
Apparently the man had said to her staff that he followed Sandra last week.by FW Editor |
