Selena Gomez wanted to go to school

Wednesday, December 8 2010

Selena Gomez who is 18 years old didn't enjoy the home-schooled program, because she felt deprived of a normal childhood.

"I actually cried. We were moving and I had no choice. I was like, 'I'm not going to get a locker and I'm not going to go to prom'," Selena in an interview for OK! magazine.

"That [annoyance] lasted a month and then I was fine, especially after talking to my friends about what they were dealing with at school." she added.

The singer recently said that adults say "awful" things about her on the internet.

"I get criticized by adults who say awful things about me on the internet, things that affect me that I try not to read," she told the New York Post.
